Zoe’s wellness journey began at age 12 with the opening of a heated power yoga studio in her neighborhood called “Sigh Yoga.” Zoe struggled with anxiety as a child. Her mom, who regularly attended classes at Sigh, thought yoga might be helpful. After taking just one yoga class, Zoe was astonished at how amazing she felt. She quickly fell in love with the practice and found that yoga helped her manage her anxiety. At age 15, Zoe knew she wanted yoga to be a pillar of her life going forward. Thus, she enrolled in a 230 hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She completed the program at age 16 and began teaching shortly after. Through the continual development of her practice and a deeper understanding of yoga theory, Zoe drifted away from a focus on a vigorous physical practice and was drawn toward more traditional Hatha Yoga.

After completing her 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2013, Zoe was certain she wanted a career helping and healing others through a modality that incorporated mind, body, and spirit. Not long after, she was introduced to Chinese Medicine in a Yin Yoga teacher training. She became infatuated with the theory and methodology. Naturally, she enrolled in the Masters of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine program at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Zoe loves that Chinese Medicine views the patient as a whole and aims to balance their entire being in an organic way. Through simply redirecting energy flow, the body begins to heal and balance itself.

Today, Zoe is a licensed acupuncturist with over 6 years of clinical experience. She has been teaching yoga for more than 10 years. She is passionate about holistic forms of healing that incorporate mind, body, and spirit. Zoe has completed numerous advanced yoga training, including Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, meditation, pranayama, tantric energetics, and more.
